Developing an accessible mindset enables you to create material that is accessible to everyone. Your proactive approach speeds up the design process and reminds you to see your content through the eyes of the user. Throughout my career as a writer and educator, I have striven to create material for people who have various physical and learning challenges. I understand the need and I can help you design the solution. If you would like more information, please contact me at info@michelebrannonhamilton.com. I offer the following services:
Consulting
I can help you develop a plan for success and offer you tips for creating your own accessibility process. We can look at your current material and determine what changes you need to make. I can assist you with documents, web pages, slides, and online courses. Sometimes you just need a fresh set of eyes to view your content and offer suggestions whether you are starting from scratch or updating your current information. Online, phone, and in person consultation sessions are available.
Training
I offer accessible design by document workshops to help you with the design of specific material including text documents, slides, online courses, and more. Training sessions can be tailored to your needs. Currently, training is only available in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
Modules
Coming soon! I am developing self-paced training modules to help people create accessible documents.
